The True Family
While Jesus was still teaching the multitudes, his mother and his brothers stood outside the house where Jesus was, wanting to talk to him.
Because the crowd was too thick to come into the house, they sent word through the crowd that they were calling him.
There was a great number of people sitting around Jesus, and as the word was passed along, someone said to Jesus:
Look, your mother and your brothers are looking for you, they are outside the building waiting to see you and they want to speak to you.
Jesus answered and said to the one who spoke:
Who is my mother? And who are my brothers? My mother and my brothers are those who hear the words of God and do them. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother, and sister and mother.
